The Maidstone Shopmobility scheme is supported by Anywaste Solutions, Young & Partners, Wilkinsons and Euro Mobility.
The Shopmobility scheme aims to
make Maidstone an accessible shopping destination for all by
providing both electric scooters and manual wheelchairs to members.
The scheme is open to anyone who has difficulty walking without
assistance whether it be a long term disability or a temporary
problem such as a broken leg.
There is a simple registration and booking procedure.
