MaidSafe Introduction

Previously recognised as the Town Centre Security Group, the Partnership has reformed to take advantage of current practice and forge ahead in reducing crime.

The Partnership is now a cross representative body with a formal constitution, a Steering Group and Management Team.

The intention is to work towards being in the best position to make Maidstone a safer place. In achieving this the Partnership has been recognised with the British Retail Consortium’s National Safer Shopping Award, has employed an Intelligence Manager and purchased the National Business Information System (NBIS).

This system is the vehicle for sharing information, including photographs of known and suspected criminals across the towns of Kent and the South East, undoubtedly putting Maidstone at the forefront of crime reduction partnerships with very real and tangible benefits.

Membership of MaidSafe couldn’t be simpler. By joining and accepting the terms of membership you will be entitled to all benefits of the partnership.
