MaidSafe Benefits
The benefits of membership are wide ranging. To achieve our goals there are many initiatives managed by the Partnership including:

Real Time Information
Via the Storenet and Nitenet radios, information is passed concerning offences and offenders in real time. Continually monitored by CCTV operators viewing over 40 town centre cameras, this is the life blood of any successful partnership.

Information Sharing
Current information on crime and those committing it, including the circulation of photographs and offender’s modus operandi.

Exclusion Notice Scheme
This scheme uses the basis of information sharing to ban offenders from all participating members’ premises.

Staff Awareness Training
Utilising the experience and expertise of the Partnership to offer in-house training to raise staff awareness and their ability to successfully deal with situations arising.

Media Strategy
By thoughtful media briefings the Partnership increases publicity with the aim of reducing the fear of crime in Maidstone Town Centre.

Civil Loss Recovery
Working on behalf of the members to recover losses and damages from thieves. The objective is to create a crime reduction programme entirely funded by thieves.

Thumbprint Signature Programme
By requesting a thumbprint of the cardholder, this programme reduces the opportunity for the use of stolen or forged payment cards and cheques.

More Information
All of these benefits, and more are available to all our members. Simply contact John Drogo, Intelligence Manager on 01622 758938.
